Our Story

Main Street BBQ was born from an idea in early 2009. We discovered we had a love of crafting (and eating!) great BBQ. After many years of working for others in some of St. Louis’ finest and most interesting food service venues, we decided to strike out on our own. In 2011 we have combined our business with Bobby Tom’s BBQ and have moved into the Pevely location. Combining the best both businesses have to offer we continue forward as Main Street BBQ, and strive to serve the finest BBQ around!

Main Street BBQ is a concept of serving the best meats, smoked low & slow with fine hickory.

Main Street BBQ’s style is a hybrid between St. Louis, Kansas City and Memphis styles. Four homemade sauces are available to top off the meats to our guests liking; Main Street Sweet & Smokey, Bobby Tom’s Sweet, Mustard & Vinegar and Spicy Cayenne.

In addition to our BBQ sandwiches, platters & family meals, Main Street BBQ also offers a variety of specialty sandwiches that are mouth-watering & hearty! Unique items like the “Main Street Special”, Massive BBQ Nachos and Brisket & Pulled Pork Chili are sure to please. Don’t forget to try our home made side dishes such as our Dill Red Potato Salad & our slow simmered BBQ Beans!
